MEP Engineering
GOCO provides ongoing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services in the Empire State Building.
Built in 1931, this landmarked building has 102 floors, including 78 office floors, comprising a total area of 2.9M SF.
Starbucks Reserve
GOCO furnished MEP/FP plans and specifications for a new 23,000 SF Starbucks Reserve in the corner retail space of the Empire State Building.
The new store occupies 3 floors of retail, featuring seating for patrons, private event rooms, and 3 kitchens for heating/serving food. The design also entailed 140 tons of condenser water cooling, all new sprinklers, pre-action system for the new IT room and new 1600A electrical service for the space.
