Goldman Copeland has provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection (MEP/FP) services for the creation of Audible’s new headquarters, opening in 2019 in a formerly abandoned historic church in downtown Newark. We have also provided MEP/FP services to the Gateway Center, the large commercial complex in downtown Newark that includes some of the tallest buildings in the city. For PSE&G, we have participated in an initiative to increase energy efficiency in hospitals.

Goldman Copeland has engineered three hospitals for Hackensack Meridian Health. We have worked for more than 25 years with Hackensack University Medical Center – New Jersey’s largest provider of inpatient and outpatient medical services. We have provided MEP services for upgrading and expanding the main campus and designing the MEP systems to serve the new six-story, 192-bed, Women’s and Children’s Pavilion. GoCo has also provided engineering services to Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair and Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood.

Our firm has also provided engineering services for two hospitals in the Atlantic Health System: Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, where we renovated the Intensive Care Unit and the Step-Down Unit, and Morristown Medical Center, where we upgraded systems in the out-patient pediatric clinic. We have helped engineer another two hospitals for RWJ Barnabas Health: Jersey City Medical Center, where we replaced two X-ray facilities and the cardiac catheterization laboratory, and Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, where we renovated the central sterile area, in which medical instruments are sterilized.

GoCo has worked on four other medical complexes in New Jersey: Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck,New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, and Valley Health System in Ridgewood.
