Anchored by Grand Central Terminal, this building overlooks the 225,000 passengers who go through the station daily.
Our work on the complete renovation of this 742,000 SF building required new HVAC infrastructure, including a new, state of the art 2000 ton chiller plant. The plant design adds free cooling through a tenant condenser water system, winter heat exchanger cooling, variable primary flow pumping and dashboard controls which meet the ASHRAE 22-2008 criteria.
The building has been refaced with an articulated curtain wall at the base and reflective insulating glass panels over the tower.
