The MEP design for this project involved the conversion of a concourse level cinema complex into an off-Broadway theater complex. The design created two 499-seat theaters, two 250-seat theaters, one 199-seat black-box theater and a rehearsal area.
With the concourse below-grade, the HVAC design had to accommodate restricted headroom while maintaining sightlines in each auditorium. Sound attenuation was included to adhere to strict acoustical criteria.
