The MEP design for this project included the modernization and fit-out of 20 of the 29 floors in the building.Included was a new 4,000 SF data center on the fourth floor with a UPS and PBX room. The existing data center ran uninterrupted until the new data center was completed.
Also part of the project was a new 300 KW emergency generator, installed below grade with exhaust piped to the first floor. Since the building was almost fully occupied, work was staged to relocate occupants from one floor to another while work was in progress.
